Greatest Beatles record of all time *at least in my opinion*, 14 great tracks of pure early 60's Rock N' Roll, there's not much to be said, this is a perfect record. 10/10

The Beatles Please Please Me 2012
Optimal pressing. No distortion whatsoever

Great album, Very underrated. Pressing is great, heavy and thick vinyl. My one problem is, in the mix, the vocals and instruments are panned too much. Most instruments are panned hard left, and all The vocals are panned hard right. Still would recommend though.

Very clear sound, doesn't sound off at all. Digital remasted is a bit spotty at points, but it's still The Beatles, so it sounds great anyways. Record arrived flat and non-staticky

Folks, BEFORE You List Your Copy For Sale, Please Double Check it!: If it mentions Capitol Records & Hollywood, CA in small green print on the hype sticker, just above the bar code, then it's a USA pressing, pressed at Rainbo Records.
However, If it mentions EMI Records, "Printed & Made In The EU. UK " after it, it's pressed at Optimal in , both the first 2012 pressings.
If it says made in Canada, then it's a very recent GZ, USA/Canadian pressing. Please, Always double check before listing your copy for sale! 🙏
Please save yourself a possible return & buyers the frustration/disappointment of receiving the wrong version, because you had something incorrectly listed.
In conclusion, It'll always say the country of origin right on the back of the album, if you look hard enough, again, either on the front hype sticker, a small white rectangular on the rear cover, or it'll be printed directly on the shrinkwrap itself. There's clues/hints in the fine print on the hype sticker and/or bottom rear cover, so please list it accordingly. 👍 -
This EU pressing sounds Incredible on my setup! 👍👍

Great sounding pressing. Well balanced stereo on the bulk of the tracks. Unfortunately there are a few mono tracks due to the lack of original tape.

I received this LP from Amazon on Wednesday. I have read a couple of complaints regarding this release.. first off.. a review on Amazon from this chap receiving a warped pressing. Nope, not mine. It's nice and flat! Secondly, that the mono tracks of Love Me Do and P.S. I Love You were mastered too "hot". Nahh.. not really to my ears.. maybe just a smidgen louder than the stereo tracks, but nothing to worry about. Another complaint was Love Me Do skipping.. again, I may be tracking on the heavy side at 1.75 gm, with a Shure SC35C with a conical stylus, but no skips...anywhere! The last complaint I've read was distortion on the vocals on the Please Please Me track. So I listened.. and except for a little more punch in McCartney's bass, it sounded pretty much the same as I've always heard it.. so a back to back comparison was done with my copy of the song on the 1962-1966 red album.. vocals sound the same to me. I then played my mono Vee-Jay 581 45 single, which I believe had been mastered a little hotter than the British Parlophone single.. and maybe the vocals aren't as distorted.. but that slight distortion doesn't take away anything from the music. I highly recommend this album.. especially for those who have only played the Capitol "Early Beatles" LP, or like myself, had only heard the bootleg Vee-Jay Introducing The Beatles LP.
