I agree with the previous comments that this pressing doesn't sound all that great. It sounds very thin, no real punch, with lacking bass.

Not much bottom end on this disc but otherwise I think it sounds pretty good. EQ'ing the bass up and taking out some midrange it's a nice listen and the vinyl is thick, flat and very quiet. My copy is in EX/NM condition which certainly helps.

Edited 3 years agoThis mastering by Adrian Barber is, to my ears, a bit of a disappointment. Kind of shrill, congested, a bit lightweight, and the highs have sort of a washed-out quality, probably due to the limitations of an inferior US tape copy. It's hard to believe this is how many of us heard this album for the first time in the US. This pressing is trying very hard to make my system sound like a giant AM radio and I'm not happy about it. I wanted to like this one but there are better examples out there than this pressing.

Edited 3 years agoMy runout on the first side, it is ST-A-691699-C-1-1 LW AT w.. While, side two is ST.-A-691700-C 1-111 LW AT w.. Also, this pressing sounds really, in my opinion. Better than the stereo mix that we got in 2009 and 2010.
