It also includes a replica fan-mail insert and hype sticker (with the wording updated and changed to reference Record Store Day)

I thought it was worthwhile to report that… Even though I didn’t do a side-by-side play… The new record sounded very fine without intense cleaning.
And yes, it opens up top —so careful with your razors ! -
Was excited except for Cooking Vinyl. I’ve had some bad pressings from them over the years, and this is no different. They use”noisy vinyl”! Maybe spray some Pam on the stampers or something. I love this album, and am happy to have an RSD copy, but I’ll be listening to my og copy when I want to give it a spin. Mine has a barely audible (enough to drive you crazy) blump noise on the last 3 or 4 songs on side one. There’s a scratchy noise between each track. Yeah, I cleaned it first! Use Rhino next time!

FYI - this opens from the TOP not the side. I nearly sliced the right side open with my Swiss Army knife before I realized I was prying away at the glue! It was shrink-wrapped very tightly.
