Notes
Comes in a 24-page book-bound jacket with printed inner sleeves. The picture on the cover is spot varnished.
Sticker with barcode attached to the rear shrink wrap.
Differences from the European version:
● European version has a "Made in " sticker attached to the rear shrink wrap; whereas this version has "VINYL MADE IN MEXICO" printed on the rear shrink wrap
● Matrix / Runout is different - this version was pressed by Vantiva, Guadalajara, Mexico and has a stamped 7-digit matrix in parentheses (e.g., "(1252547)") whereas the European version doesn't have this and everything but "STERLING" in its matrix is etched.
Track C4 is stylized as lower-case, "loml"

Sounds pretty good, no complaints there. The record is more of a very dark brown coffee color, very pretty.
-
the color is absolutely stunning. sadly, mine came with a lot of paper residue that scratched side b very badly. its almost unlistenable. the packaging is beautiful too, she ate the photoshoot up!
-
Sound quality is serviceable, pretty quiet in of surface noise, and the color is a stunning dark brown. The packaging is wonderful to look at. Even though this is probably my least favorite TS album, I love to see such a well thought out vinyl release.

My copy sounds very, very clean. It is not "brown dark translucent" in any way, shape, or form, though. It's a black vinyl. "Ink black" is what she's calling it, I guess, but it's just a normal black vinyl. It sounds good, probably better than most of her releases.

Edited 9 months agoThe mastering of this album is really nice, but the second LP sounds like rice krispies even after a wet wash and dry brushing. (Edit: Another run through the Spin Clean and a few more plays solved the problem! Make sure you give it a good clean.) The vinyl color and packaging are beautiful.

I agree the vinyl is a little thin, but mine sounds good with no warping. The packing for this variant is spectacular. It fits the vibe of the album and screams quality. The vinyl color is a very dark brown, which is a nice surprise as I expected a standard black variant. Overall, very pleased!

No warping on my copy and it sounds incredible. A few ticks but nothing to complain about. Vast improvement over any of my copies of Midnights.
