Like, "WOW"! Pretty blown away by the sound of this record! Besides the beautiful material of the vinyl, the musical gems are worth it, especially if you are a big fan. If you are not, this is merely a pedagogical execise. Quality of the pressing is a 9/10, music is an 8/10. I don't regret this purchase, understanding it is one of my favourite records.

My pressing was fantastic right out of the sleeve: no debris, no noise, no pops/ticks, no scratches.
The album as a whole is interesting and really only for those who are die-hard fans of this album, or APP (like me) and if you are, you will be rewarded.
Mastering wise, I thought the record was very dynamic with a nice warm EQ and even though it was likely all digital, it still sounded very inviting and 3-dimensonal, in typical AP fashion.
The colour was cool too!
Get it if you're fan. You won't be disappointed! -
The first pressing I got had awful surface noise throughout side 1, I exchanged it for another copy which was better but still not as quiet as I would've liked. Great album but with the pressing QC being so hit and miss I don't think it's worth the RRP. See if you can get it cheap.

Record sounds clean and good. Not sure how much I enjoy the rough drafts, but it is a great pressing and the presentation has charm.
-
My copy of this sounds very clear with no clicks or pops. Some of the more "finished" tracks sound just as good if not better than the versions that ended up in the completed album. It's an interesting "work in progress" document for APP geeks.
