Numbered copy of 1601 - sounds bloody good, mine arrived with no warps, dead quiet and great dynamics! Overall pleased with the quality.

Sounds great.
But its the first record I have ever got that smells like curry.
Guess the guy who packaged it had a mad curry lunch lol -
Edited one year agoBeautiful pressing! No noise; it’s clean & loud. Such a f*ing phenomenal album but that probably goes without saying!

I own 2 copies of the Definitive Edition that I purchased when it was released in 2017. Both have swirling surface noise that I always found distracting. I was probably just unlucky as it doesn’t seem to be a widespread problem.
I decided to try this edition in the hope that the noise was gone and I’m happy to report that it is. Sounds as great as my other copies but this time both records are background silent with no issues to report. -
The record sounds great. I like the numbered aspect of this release. It seems like there could’ve been a cool hype sticker or something with this variant. The outer sleeve is very cheap as well. I’m not trying to gripe, but this seems to have little to no thought behind it. There are bigger things than a record variant to worry about. Just wishful thinking.

Sounds amazing. As others have said, it looks like it's very similar to the Definitive Edition. Haven't heard that one, but very happy with this version a as it sounds great.
-
This is a lesser copy of the DE edition that was released a few years ago and is widely available. There are slight differences with the legal wording (and of course the number) on the jacket, but otherwise the same, however the printing on the jacket is lighter than the DE pressing and it wasn't shrink-wrapped.
-
So this is just a repress of the Downward Spiral from a few years ago? Matrix seems to match, save for the scratched out parts.
