American Idiot is probably the best pop punk album in my opinion and Green Day might be the best Punk band. This album is top notch and the pressing is amazing. I just wish the sleeve was better. I don’t like the paper kind of sleeves. Mine came a little wrinkly but they weren’t damaged. Did this happen to anyone else?

This is a fucking great pressing! The dynamics are outstanding. When the drums kick on American Idiot (Track 1; Side 1), the soundstage takes off, and you know that the rest of the LP is going to kick it. Here is the thing, you better be sure you have a system that can handle the sound. That is probably why a few people complained about the quality of this recording. I had this cranking at high levels, and it rocked! I'm looking forward to the One Step pressing from Because Sound Matters. If it's anything more detailed than this great LP, then I will definitely will get blown away. This is a must-have pressing from Green Day fans.

This sounds much better than the High Res files for this record (through Qobuz with a dedicated headphone amp). The low end detail on this is insane. They sacrificed a bit of the top end to achieve it but overall the sound is more balance and powerful. It is cut quiet to allow for more bass in the grooves. IMO it was done right all around.

Dynamite sounding pressing, crunchy guitars, full bass, clear present vocals, and punchy drums. Just wish it didn't come with crappy white paper sleeves. But if you can get this one for cheap go for it, it's fantastic.

One of the best sounding records in my collection really punchy low end and nice crisp highs. Quiet press too!

Horrible sound. Everything sounds dead, especially the drums. This press definitely did not get the proper treatment. They obviously quickly got it on to vinyl for the novelty aspect without paying attention to the sound quality.
