Edited 11 months agoI bought the Clear Blue Loser Edition on the strength of "Angel (The Bug Remix)". The deconstruction/reinvention of the track is exemplary, on the same level of skill as masterpieces such as the Nine Inch Nails "Further Down The Spiral" remixes. The other tracks are more predictable.
My vinyl copy is acceptable although when I first played it I was thinking purists might find it a little frustrating. There are just a few patches of mild intermittent "ticking" surface noise in quieter drone sections which could be distracting if you want to completely immerse yourself in it. Given today's inconsistencies in pressing quality, the digital files would be the safe way to go if you're that serious. Me, I love it enough for The Bug.

Just bought the "clear blue loser" vinyl edition.
Too much surface noise, especially audible on quiet parts. -
