Genuinely surprised at how great this record sounds. I expected a flat and clunky digital-rip. But this pressing has great sound and atmosphere. Very worth the purchase.

Beyond excellent EP. And Holy Other's first as well. It's simply astonishing the bredth and depth of emotion each track carries. There's ghosts hiding in each track. Altogether, a must-have.

One of the deepest, most epic and emotional electronic tracks I have ever heard...still gives me goosebumps.

Edited 13 years agoYou know when you hear something new and you think ... what the hell is that? ... well this is one of those records. I don't wish to draw in comparisons or what I perceive to be possible influences as these tracks stand upright on their own...they don't need any post mortum. Just let your ears do the listening!

I really could care less about any kind of dubstep influence on this record, it honestly sounds like listening to old Art of Noise albums on vinyl on a deck that is slowly failing. Beautiful, amazing album. Holy Other, if kept at this pace, will be one of the best things to come out of the downtempo field in years. There seems to be a bit of an influence, whether directly or indirectly, of Enigma here at work also. Regardless of the influences, I could listen to this record all day long.
