I don’t get the negative comments. This is a fantastic pressing. PLENTY of bass, sounds great. If this is “bright” compared to ther cuts, that may not be a bad thing. Not sure this album needs more bass!

IMHO, plays great, lots of detail, just some lack of bass. 1st press is better than this.

This pressing is awful. Avoid at all costs. Bright, thin, sibilance and distortion throughout. I’ve never heard such beautiful music sound so terrible. My mp3 version is far superior.

The mastering on this lp isn't good. I bought the 76' jap pressing in 82' and really didn't notice, know, or care about the quality. I just knew I had a jap pressing and that was cool in itself. So, I have to agree with Jimmy Page on the mastering of early Zep lp's. Robert's vocals are pretty distorted. Might get a few of the new ones.
