I've been holding out on getting tpab because Everytime I see it it's usually $45+ and that's just too much for this album to me. Until I found a pressing of this for $27 and used at a record store so I decided to get it. Like the other guy under me said, there are a few things wrong with mine but not the same as his so I'll just write down everything wrong with it.

The intro to Wesley's Theory is extremely distorted and shitty sounding, but the second the beat kicks in it becomes super clean and sounds beautiful and the rest of the album persists like that.

The run in groove for side D seems to be messed up in some way. Whenever I drop it on the run in groove when the music starts it sounds extremely distorted and unlistenable, but if I drop the stylus on right where the music starts it's fine.

The record itself has a significant amount of surface noise, but I noticed that after a good clean and the more I play it it seems to lessen.

This copy isn't perfect by a long shot, but for the price that I got it at vs the price that you usually get it at I'm not complaining.

I know this is a really important album to a lot of people though, so if you are one of those people don't go for this copy, but if you just want to own tpab on vinyl to listen to occasionally this is perfectly adequate

Not a great pressing in my experience. Bought a copy in 2019 and had to return it 3 times because of a supposed manufacturing defect. On the first track, Wesley's Theory, there is a noticeable skip between the last line of the first chorus ("Destroyed, but what for?") and the beginning of the first verse ("When I get signed...")

The line, "...but what for?" is completely cut out. It completely kills the vibe for me. Fortunately, none of the other tracks have this problem; however, this is a very noisy pressing even after being cleaned on my record doctor. This record is a complete dud and it's unfortunate you can't differentiate this pressing from any other externally similar pressings without having to open the record up and reading the matrix/runout info. My advice, stay away from this pressing. If you end up buying this pressing, save yourself the disappointment and return it.
