Often unfairly dismissed as a beer barn band, The Angel are one of the best hard rock songwriters of the late 70s/ early 80s era. A bit before their time, the combine the devil may care Australian attitude with great storytelling, catchy choruses, and awesome riffs. They were major influences on the 80s Los Angeles metal scene, ired by Guns'n'Roses and covered on a few occasions by Great White, including Face The Day from this album. This album is compelling from start to finish.
