Clearly the B side - Drane it is. Quite atmospheric and almost melodic - but distinctly Autechre sound.

Edited 18 years agoAll Peel Session tracks are real good, but drane is the one on this 12' that makes me want to have this record.
It reminds me of new years eve 2006, I had this party at my sisters place and there where a few dj's, one guy spinned some offbeat track and then turned this up, Drane, everybody walked over to the turntables, my friends and family all knew this track, but i was like, "what is this"? The answer was Drane, it blew me away, and it still does. When times get rough and emotional listen to this.
I always wondered where those deep, screaming kind off synth sounds come from, maybe a self made machine?!
This will always be one of my favorites tracks,
deep, emotional, brilliant!
