got my first copy from barnes and noble. Extremely warped. Naturally, I returned it and exchanged for a new copy. The warp was even worse. So not sure if this is a Barnes & Noble issue... or a pressing issue. I've noticed many sites with comments of a similar nature. I love this record, but I'll have to keep my eyes open for a future pressing. This was not it.

Very good sounding album. My wife wanted to get this and I rolled my eyes, I was very wrong to do so. Never was a Harry Styles fan, but man this album is fantastic.

Edited 2 years agoMine is cut by Joe Nino-Hernes at Stirling. Pressing is fine, decently dynamic. Above average SQ for what I'd expect from a mainstream pop release like this. A fully consistent bottom end is lacking, & although I really like the production, it is not 3 dimensional with a wide open sound stage, unfortunately.
(Rega RP6 with Ortofon black cart through McIntosh MA5200 amp & Axiom M60 v2 speakers.) -
My copy sounds great overall, but there seems to be some static like distortion in the left channel while matilda plays. Nothing loud but it sounds like the stylus is dirty even though it isnt which is sort of annoying. Mainly just cause its in the one channel only. -
the packaging is very great! i love the postcard and the poster! sadly, my vinyl is standard black, but i love it anyway!!! 😍🏡🪴🏘🪟🪞 -
It sounds good, but is pretty flat sounding I think? I don't think the bass is anywhere near as crisp/loud as on streaming. Everything but that seems to be perfect though. -

Edited 2 years agoFirst copy I received had the worst warp on any new vinyl that I've ever seen. Waiting for a replacement as I couldn't even fathom trying to listen to that.
EDIT My second copy is flat, perfectly flat actually. Sounds good, not great. There is some sibilance at times, and not the most breadth of sound I've ever heard, but not bad at all for a new pop album. Pressing is average - light surface noise, and side A is a bit off center which is quite noticeable on the instrumental portions of the last track. -

Also the CD will be out on May 20/2022 a very smart move by his fantastic record label Columbia records to release the physical formats all at the same time. This will mean HIGH DEBUTS on all the worlds music charts and landing at number one where Harry Styles belongs. This is already at #1 in Australia on iTunescharts! THIS IS THE ALBUM OF 2022! SPECTACULAR CONTEMPORARY POP AT ITS IT'S FINEST GREAT FOR ANYONE FROM 5 YEARS OLD TO 95 YEARS OLD AND EVERYONE IN BETWEEN.
