Sounds great. Gold is cool, but yes, I'm sure some versions of it the glitter from the gold can cause some surface noise, luckily mine is basically unnoticeable on my setup. -
This pressing 100% has surface noise, the vinyl is glittery gold. It’s not unbearable, but you definitely hear it and it can be hard to ignore it sometimes.
The only other record I have with this bad of surface noise is another glittery gold so… -
Heard some complaints on the gold pressing about subpar sound quality, and that definitely appears to be the case on a few specific parts of the album. Overall, I think the quality is adequate for what it is. Unfortunately don't have a way to compare the sound to the other colour pressings. Overall happy and glad to finally be able spin this one!

All star performance. Sad that the special fan club edition didn’t include the OBI strip. However, it’s great to own a piece of music history on such a ‘delightful’ edition.
