My copy has literally zero surface noise, I'm very happy with it. The bonus tracks are amazing too...

Edited 2 years agoShit, I didn't even read that this was pressed by GZ until days after I preordered it. I heard they have QC issues with loud surface noise, but can anyone with a copy attest to this?
EDIT: Finally got around to playing this, and it seems I got unlucky. There are three streaks of non-fill on my copy where it ticks every 5-8 rotations at certain points - one that's barely noticeable and two that get progressively louder per rotation. I guess I'll have to live with it as it's no longer in stock, sadly...
Aside from that problem, the rest of the record plays with minimal surface noise. The mix does present some audio distortion on a couple of tracks, but that's to be expected from translating a low-fidelity slushwave release onto an analog format such as vinyl.
