Hi wijit, nice kind words. Just to add a piece of nostalgic fun facts to its history. This 2x12" actually became Single of the Week in the NME (UK) the week of its release.

Edited 4 years agoThis is a very enjoyable EP. A kind of warm, quirky, funky, chunky IDM with lovely melodies, basslines, drums, pads, and so on. Every track stands on its own, including the remixes from artists on the Clear label, which complement nicely, but each do something new as well. From the clever graphic design and artwork to the selection of the remixers, the track sequence (original, then remix on each side of the vinyl) and super heavy-weight pressing (at least 180 g and maybe more), it is clearly a carefully thought out release. It has sat unassumingly on my shelf for 20+ years and still brings me a smile when I listen to it. :-) The complete opposite of a disposable consumable, in fact, and the fact the artists chose to entitle it "Single Of The Week" says to me they knew this to be true.
