A1: Deep, dubby drum and bass. Chock full of idea's, pace changes and moods but definitely a happy Scandinavian vibe. [NINE]
A2: Breaks. Starts out with a laidback dubby vibe but the pace ratchets up to a pace that would normally be described as maniacal but the control applied is exceptional. The plaid-esque synths bring it to a different place a place where all this madness makes sense. Unique. [NINE]
B1: Fast Drum and bass. Authentic jazz band sound brings it a 70's experimental sound of an extreme San Francisco Jazz Club that no one ever recorded before now. Our loss. [TEN]
B2: Fast Drum and Bass. Fails to get the sound of B1 right this time apart from the bass being too sub it sound like a 70's cop movie incidental music album at 45rpm. I checked the deck myself while listening. I did get into it by the end so credit due but I think it overshot a bit. [SIX]
B3: Downbeat Drum and Bass. Perhaps suffering from the pace of the previous two cuts it initially starts a bit dreary but give it a minute and it finds it's feet. Sounds like a Warp Records/Delsin act straying into Drum and Bass territory. Lovely subtlety even at it's most dramatic. It works. [NINE]
C1: Dark Drum and Bass. Certainly moodier than anything that had gone before more experimental jazz sounds with some intense bass guitar work and nothing short of noodling on top. Again credit goes for uniqueness, not an easy listen for some. [EIGHT]
C2: Drum and Bass. Some more broody cinematic sounds. In fact sounds like a techno outfit side project, that's a little too by the numbers. [SIX]
D1: Drum and Bass. What could have been the most accessible but best track on the album starts promisingly but the decisions sound dated. A more conventional but modern approach to production could have done wonders but we get a dud. [FOUR]
D2: Drum and Bass. Two tracks in one. First half being a beautiful lush laidback harking back to the opener then during the breakdown the track evolves into a contrast of rapid beats, blissful synths and minimal Jazz double bass line. [NINE]
