I’m going slightly mad identifying my copy. It matches this one completely except for the runouts. I’ve got: 2_011751316-A-1 and 2_0111751316-B-1
Anyone else with the same one? -
Edited 3 months agoIdentifying these One Little records is so dumb... Cat is the same, barcode is the same, everything is the same between all the reissues, so stupid. I guess this is the one I have cause it matches all the photos both on sleeve and record itself, but I cannot be sure. Got it brand new and it's great, no sound artifacts found in my case.

Theres some sibilance during A4 and towards the end of A5 with my copy, but besides that it sounds great!

Recently got a Sealed EU Reissue. Every detail matches with this version with the exception of the matrix run-outs: TPLP 31 A-2 / TPLP 31 B-2 & the Labels are Silver not Black. All text & all other IDs match up perfectly. Wondering if this is another (matrix) variant of this specific entry? Or should yet another entry be created? Hmm…

any version on discogs with "one little independent" on both sleeve and labels, but the labels are *silver* rather than black like these ones? no cat on labels either. maybe it's a US repress? ugggh guess I will have to create it.

Gorgeously mastered pressing!
[It was a bit of a hassle trying to find this version on Discogs to match it with my copy] -
I’m 99% sure this is the one I have. One Little Independent is listed on both the cover and labels (OLI changed their name in 2020), and the inner sleeve is plain black poly/paper.
It sounds really clear and crisp, bass is tight. Bjork’s vocals on Anchor Song sounds like she’s right here in the room. Overall a great pressing to my ears. Just a few caveats:
There is a noticeable super faint low “thud” in between each track (including tracks that lead into one another without a break). Lead-in and lead-out also have a low rumble, but the tracks themselves sound great.
Cover art looks like it was scanned from the CD, which is a bummer, but it sounds great and I’m super happy having this in my meager collection. -
Edited 3 years agoTheres so many damn versions of the standard black reissue of this and I THINK this is the one I have, sounds really good. I imagine an original sounds better? No issues here though from some spot tests. No surface noise, overall good sound. A slight bit more noise in the quiet tracks but I imagine a wet clean would help a lot with that.
In of the packaging: the cover is well printed, looks fine to me. Sleeve opens at the top which is very odd, have never seen that before outside of 1 12in single in my collection, not a big fan of how barebones this release is (like, no lyrics sheet or liner notes or anything, just the LP and picture sleeve) but thats not terribly important compared to sound quality. Overall fantastic release, amazing album aswell.
