Nice job with the packaging. Even has reproductions of the original printed inner sleeves, which absolutely scream "early 70's". The teal opaque color vinyl is beautiful. Sound quality is very good. Vinyl quality is only so-so. Some sections have excessive surface noise. It will do, but I'll probably pick up a different pressing at some point.

my favorite jazz record ever although i dont listen to much of the other songs this album contains my favorite song of all time and ofc this album had 2 be the first physical piece of music i bought

Edited 5 months agoMy copy seems to have a lot of surface noise. Pops, crackles galore. It was only a year old when I bought it. I would not recommend this issue.

Edited one year agoThis sounds close to my 1971 og copy. The '71 is a bit warmer and fuller, this one is a bit sharper and more detailed. But close I would say. I'll keep both around, one each at the two locations I have systems in. Either it's AAA, or the digital remaster is pretty darn good. (But then again, if it were AAA they'd make a big deal on the hype stickers, no?)

Pressing is just okay. Decent sound quality but some surface noise here and there and my disc 1 is warped. The label on side 3 is also torn.
Awesome album though. -

Some surface noise here and there, overall excellent sound quality, and a great pressing. Glad I have it.
