someone needs to point out how the title track from this takes A LOT from King Crimson's "In the wake of Poseidon". that aside, there's a couple of fun moments on this one, ive been always a fan of 'Ebbtide'.

Earth and Fire were an outstanding Dutch symphonic prog band featuring the beautiful and distinctive vocals of Jerney Kaagman. Song of the Marching Children (1971) was their second album but their first fully progressive one; it is soaked in Mellotron and generally considered to be their best. Two bands that are often compared to Earth and Fire are the French band Sandrose and the English band Julian’s Treatment.
