it's hard to believe that this album was the best selling album of all time until Michael Jackson's Thriller came along. The fifth and final studio album from the pop-folk duo comprising Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel, it is an amazing recording that foreshadows some of the direction Paul Simon would explore in his solo career. At one stage a copy of his album could be found in almost every record collection in every home. I the quad version was often used to demo quadraphonic sound systems. It still sounds amazing today and well worth listening to.
