never heard any other version of the album but i agree with the other comment it is indeed quite low volume but overall an alright pressing

Haven't heard any of the other 1989 pressings, but this is not a bad variant. It is I think the vinyl with the lowest volume of all the records I've ever listened to, which of course brings up more sharply any surface imperfection - so any vinyl below NM will prove a problematic listen. Despite the low volume however (which may be due to the amount of music crammed onto each side of the vinyl), the sound is not bad although somewhat bass shy. Treble and mids are clear and pleasant, never sharp or distorted. Not a bad version, then, but avoid noisy copies.
