amazing album and a perfect compilation of his early but also ethereal tracks as most of his tracks during this period were hard acid techno (as heard on classics)

Edited 10 years agoExcellent release especially for tracks A1, B3, D1, D2 that sounds better than on my other copy AMBLP 3922.
I don't know when was pressed this release (AMBLP 3902) but I bought it in brand new conditions still sealed on July 2007.
This probably "Best ever AFX's" album is worth 2 distinctive releases for anybody who wants to enjoy fully each track. -
Edited 13 years agoI bought this pressing of SAW within the past two years. I bought it thinking it was the remastered edition (why would R&S/ Apollo press the original 1992 master 18 years later!?!) but it clearly is not. The surface noise of this pressing is quite loud and on my first time playing it I noticed lots of crackles and pops. Might even be a bootleg?
C'mon R&S, how about a 2012 repress with the 2006 remaster or even a 2012 remaster spread over 3xLPs! -
Edited 13 years agoMy personal favourit album. The first CD i bought, and i liked it so much that i bought myself an original new copy on vinyl.
Its very ambient. Perfect for a day at the beach, or just to chill.
There are not much other releases that can touch this, in of genre.
I give this release a 4.9/5.... Best songs (in my opinion) are: Actium, Tha and Xtal...."We are the music makers" is my least favorit song on this album.
