Honestly skip this pressing. Unless you have a luggage box player. Very underwhelming. Such a shame as this album was written really good.
-
Edited 3 years agoPoor mastering and even poorer quality control. The right hand channel has continuous noise on side 1 especially between tracks. Flat sounding with very little depth or range
-
Loved the white pressing, but I must agree with most of you out there. Not the best sounding pressing for an LP record. Some of the songs in this album are very flat and uninspiring. Quieter moments have lots of noise. Quite disappointed in this release. They could have done better.
I understand that vinyl pressings are not exactly the best sounding ones, but if they can't get to sound at least as good as a digital master, they have done a terrible job. -
Definitely not the best pressing, some minimal surface noise during the quieter parts as well. Don’t regret getting a copy since I like the album, but quality could be better.
-
While I do agree about the "depth" of the sound being an issue on this release, the cleanliness of the sound is extremely good. It seems like with any new pressing you get one or the other. But yeah, this sounds like a CD.
-
Who mastered this? The mastering sounds flat, uninspired, and highs that are shshsh all the time... very disappointing. I was looking forward to this album and I don't expect the others to be any different...
