Edited 5 months agoReally nice pressing of a great album. It's digitally remastered but can't help to say it sounds top notch. The front to back soundstage depth is impressive too. Can't be beat price wise either. Recommended.

The “Revolver” of sampling. Masterpiece.
This copy sounds great. Silent wax. Glorious gatefold sleeve of a long-gone Brooklyn.

gran album, con nuevos sonidos para los BB. empezaron a descubrirse, su sonido y su identidad y dejaron de ser solo un producto.

This sounds amazing. But mine has no stickers anywhere. It never did. Still in shrink, like always and forever. B-boys makin with the freak freak y'all. I mean damn

Just picked up a new copy of this. Sounds amazing! First time hearing this on vinyl and it's close to a religious experience for me.
Super silent and flat pressing. Side A on mine is pressed slightly off-center though. Side B is centered perfectly. -
Agree with the other reviews here--Solid pressing of an absolutely ESSENTIAL album. The production on this record is pure genius. Every track kills it, thought I did need to turn the volume up a tad to get the most of it. A top 5 album of all time for sure, just as good now as the day it was released.

Essential to any collection. Sounds great despite being crammed on a single LP, and the packaging is great. Definitely a great alternative if you can’t afford or find the double LP reissue from a few years ago. Get on the mic, Mike!

It's a decent pressing if, you haven't heard what they did with Hello Nasty. This album needs a little bit more love like they gave to that one. It would sound AMAZING! This is still my 2nd favorite Beasties record either way. To this day, I still consider it a Hip Hop masterpiece. It really is!

People love the way this record sounds, but I don't love the quality of the actual record sleeve. The glossy surface doesn't allow the sleeve much flex - it feels if its opened too many times it will fray apart. The creases in the double gatefold make a lot of noise... it's like a count-down to armageddon whenever I open it.
