Reviews

  • Gracefallen's avatar
    Gracefallen
This previously unreleased follow up to Soulside Journey is a masterpiece that sadly gets overlooked. More complex and technical than their debut, it also reveals glimmers of the claustrophobic darkness found in their later BM efforts. The vocal performance is second to none, with Fenriz and Satyr really pulling out all the stops to deliver some of the sickest, most excruciating vocals ever heard. Throw into that some seriously killer riffs (Green Cave Float anyone?) and tight, technical drumming, and you have an album that easily stands up with the rest of their back catalog. Listen with an open mind and you will be rewarded.
