Edited one year agoPressing is far from great. Lots of surface noise.
Optimal pressing has gone downhill. No QC anymore.

Hi all! Does anyone else have a problem with the album sleeve being slightly taller than the Sign album? Has anyone experienced this too? -

No idea why labels still keep releasing records in card inner packaging, if the buyer has any sense they'll take them straight out, clean the records to get all the card off and then put the records in poly-lined sleeves. You end up with random inner sleeves that you keep out posterity but they're just useless.... rant over. -
I'm on my third copy now, and all three have been returned because of a terrible scratchy static-like sound on side B between the kicks. Not sure if I'm just getting unlucky or there was a bad batch. It's too bad because I love the album and other reviewers are praising the fantastic sound quality. -
Fantastic pressing, astounding sound. Some tracks, as "ecol4", or "x4", are instant classics (in Autechre's personal world, of course). I'm deeply in love with "lux 106 mod", one of THOSE Autechre tracks... you know what I mean ;) -
Edited 4 years agoThis record sounds fantastic. The pressing is dead silent and very dynamic. Autechre have still got it.
