Beautifully flat and quiet pressing. Agree the soundstage is a little on the narrow side, but a great listen nevertheless.

Edited one year agoNot sure the reason around the hype of the yellow pressing and who decided it should be worth $150. I have both. This one is superior in 2 ways: It’s quieter overall, and I bought it for $19…

I bought two latest Coldplay reissues, this one and “A RUSH OF BLOOD TO THE HEAD” (https://discogs.librosgratis.biz/release/23876795-Coldplay-A-Rush-Of-Blood-To-The-Head). To my ear this one sound decidedly better. Warm, fuller sound like what I expected from vinyl. The other one sounds bit cold and harsh, although perfectly flat and noise free.

This pressing sounds absolutely amazing. I know nothing about ‘soundstage’, ‘separation’ or any of those other audiophile words. I have an AT LP120 through a Cambridge Audio A5 amp and out of a pair of Wharfedale D9s. Probably less than £500 and I can tell you if you bought, you will not be disappointed.

Edited 2 years agoPicked this up at a London Drugs and I’m quite pleased! Sits flat with no warp, only a few quiet crackles now and again otherwise very quiet. Baselines and drum kicks hit the subwoofer nicely. Great album!
