Overall, the sound of the record is very good. But in my opinion, Waxwork's release sounds a little bit duller, less clear and dynamic in direct comparison with the Silva Screen release.
-
This has got to be one of the coolest looking vinyls in my collection! The presentation captures the allure of the film very nicely. The score is great of course and it sounds great here. No audio issues whatsoever.
-
Wow! Really impressed with the quality of this version. Super quiet with no surface noise or pops. Waxwork did a great job with this one.
-
Easily the best record in my collection. Overall presentation is superb. A must have for John Carpenter collectors.
-
Love this pressing. ittedly Waxwork's offerings can be a bit of a mixed bag, but this pressing sounds great and contains very little surface noise as compared to, say, WW's pressing of The Thing. Artwork is incredible and fits perfectly with the mood of the OST and film.

I have this pressing and that of Silva Screen. This one from Silva Screen is a true audiophile press with superb sound. Here the pressing is very bad. surface noise, repeated pops ... I bought two copies and tested both. They are like that. do not listen to other comments, it is to be avoided completely for listening. now this is a great collector's item with a nice gatefold and booklet. I had them imported to Europe, what a mistake ...

This reissue sounds superb. I also had the Silva Screen to compare. This reissue beats it without question. Additionally, this pressing is flat and quiet. Comes with an awesome booklet with some great production shots. Waxwork did this justice!
