Edited one year agoIf you're in Europe, don't pay reseller prices or import tax and crazy shipping because Fiona's first 4 albums are being reissued in Europe on 8th December 2023. Hallelujah! I'm so glad I held out. -
I just got this through VMP. Total was 65.00 shipped, they get you on shipping 10.00! Although this is release is 2023 and there is no entry yet in discogs i am assuming this is the same master as all previous releases ( i was too lazy to look.). This pressing sounds pretty good, bass is great and vinyl is fairly quiet some dust specs but not much and flat. -

A question that maybe someone or VMP can explain. What's the difference from the 2019 rerelease and the 2020. The new obi black has the new black sticker over the 2019 pink sticker. If this was a 2nd rerelease why would VPM do this. Just curious.

Really happy with the quality of the VMP edition and it sounds fantastic. I would play it more if I didn’t have to flip it over after 2 songs on side B and D. That’s just annoying. I get it, but it’s still annoying. -
Maybe it's just me, but sounds a little flat and soft, not dynamic or the revealing soundscape that others have said. The instruments don't really jump out, no separation, but no surface noise; pretty quiet vinyl. Vocals are crisp but kinda buried in the mix. Not bad, but not glorious. -
its sound great! my only critic is that the copy i got was not cut well as the edges are sharp. i was surprised as everything else was quality. so it's not hard to believe when others have gotten copies in not such great of a shape.
