Edited one year agoI picked this up for $20 at my local Walmart by chance. This release and pressing is superb!
The sound is great and has a fantastic balance of highs and punch. The pressing itself is damn near perfect - I hear no surface noise on my copy even on the softer songs like “Sailing” and “I Don’t Want To Talk About It.”
As someone said below I have paid >$40 for releases/pressings that come no where near the quality this one has. I hope they put out a Vol 2. -
Edited one year agoSome sibilance on Side B, darker translucent pink/purple, pressed by MPO. Slight background noise in quieter ages but nothing concerning.

For the first time, my local Walmart had discounted records in the clearance aisle. I didn't have this record at the time. $11 for a remastered cut of Rod's best? SIGN ME UP. This thing sounds N I C E. -
Great pressing, especially for $20. Some imperfections on the clear vinyl that don’t effect okay. MPO French pressing. Good guitar detail and great bass. Good find.

Very nice pressing all around. The sound quality is very good then entire way through and the cool translucent pink LP is cleanly pressed. Better quality in this $20 Walmart release than in some expensive “audiophile” pressings lately. Kinda sad.
