I thought people were maybe a little too sensitive to the low end on this pressing reading the reviews below, but listening to it, they're actually right. The low end is so strong on some of the tracks that it actually starts to distort and modulate Hayley's vocals... really weird! The pressing still sounds great otherwise and the packaging is beautiful, but what a weird issue to have. Can't say I've encountered that before. -
Edited 4 years agoBought it soon after it’s release, and is becoming one of my favourite albums. Its pure raw emotion, and the vinyl box set just ties it all together beautifully -
Great little boxset, love the presentation very much, but can agree with the comment below that the low-end kind of dominates the mix a bit. But its fixable with my stereo's EQ so its not a big deal. Otherwise, there's little-to-no surface noise, the box is sturdy, the records look great, and the prints are a great addition. Very pleased. -
Grabbed this because it was only a couple bucks more than the 2LP version. The box set is sturdy and everything looks great. The records play fine, but the lows sounds a tiny bit overwhelming. It may seem like a pretty basic release for a box set, but I think the overall "presentation" suits it better than the standard release. -
Great album from a great artist. Box is beautiful but unfortunately a little too UNlimited for beeing limited. -
