Near-silent record, I counted one or two crackles on both sides, but even that is near-silent. I love Billie, so this was a must-have for me. Highly recommend!

Edited one year agoMy pressing had a made in “Czech Republic” sticker in the back and not “Made In Canada”. Also only one of the variants matched for side A of my copy but not side B. My side B has 186349E/BK stamped in. But it seems this is the copy it matches the most too I can’t seem to find other ones on Discogs.
I bought this not having high expectations. I don’t know why, cuz I love Billie and I know Finneas is an amazing producer. This record is very well produced. Side A is perfect. No issues whatsoever. Side B has some pops and clicks but very negligeable. There is some mild clipping on the vocals at the end of “I love you” and on “goodbye”. But that’s about it. The production is amazing. “Bury a Friend” on here is freakin spooky. You can hear all the details like it’s in 4K. “Ilomilo” is another highlight. The production just sucks you in. “Listen Before I Go” is so cinematic that it’s like you are on the roof with Billie contemplating the last moments of your life. It’s heartbreaking. The world’s a little blurry, or maybe it’s my eyes cuz this pressing is fire. -
Mine has some very slight surface noise but other than that this sounds fantastic! Vinyl color is a bit random but goes with the cover oddly well, mastering is fantastic with hardly any distortion (the only time I noticed any distortion was slight IGD at the end of when the party’s over and sone bass buzzing at the very beginning of the album, but I can’t tell if that was bass distortion or my wall decor buzzing due to exessive bass so idk but everything else sounds fantastic) definitly reccomend this pressing!

I would recommend this pressing.
I haven’t heard any other. But would not trade this one cause it’s sounds great. -
I have this record but in A2 i got a lot of distortion on the vocals in the part that says "I'm that bad type
Make your mama sad type
Make your girlfriend mad tight
Might seduce your dad type"
Anyone can help me?
I'm using a Numark TT-USB and a AT3600 cartridge -
I don't understand all the negative reviews regarding all the different versions of this album. This one sounds PERFECT to me; no surface noise, no clicks, no pops, no skipping. Recommended!

Mine has some slightly noticeable surface noise on the quieter tracks, but that might just be because I didn't clean it. But other than that, I'm happy to say that this sounds excellent! And the bass on this is HUGE! This is definitely one of the best pressings of the album and just to say it again, the bass distortion on "xanny" is INTENTIONAL and used as an effect.
Oh yeah and this album is pretty great too. -
Sounds great! MUCH better than my UO copy. Definitely happy I decided to buy this nearly a year after I bought the UO copy.

Mine is warped and the distortion is there, but apparently it's meant to be. With moving my settings around a bit it sounds pretty great.
The issue I have is that after 2 wet cleanings, there are some annoying pops and ticks that are audible during the quieter parts.
Such a great album though. -
BUY THE EU VERSION FOR THE BEST SOUND
THE US ONE SOUNDS TERRIBLE
THE BASS ON THE EU PRESSING IS AWESOME AND CLEAR AND TIGHT
PS..IT IS ALSO 180 GRAMS VS 140!!
ENJOY
