This cd actually sounds surprisingly great! I have a marantz cd player and powered JBL studio monitors. No harshness, not compressed. Perhaps a bit muddy, but that is largely consistent with other masterings of this album. Drums and guitar/bass tones come through with clarity and distinction. Many cds I’ve re-listened to lately sound harsh, compressed, and messy, but I wanted to mention this one sounds pretty darn good!
