This pressing sounds phenomenal to me on my system, maybe I get lucky but it's one of the better sounding records in my collection -
Love the packaging and colored vinyl but this pressing does not sound good. Very clouded and not clear . Gave it an ultrasonic cleaning and still sounded poor. I’ll be looking at another pressing and hopefully get the sound quality I expected. -
Does this come with the gatefold artwork? Considering buying it.

Edited 3 months agoI will echo others’ comments about quality control on this release. Purchased new and v. cleaned before play on a solid system. On my copy, each of the four sides include multiple ticks and crackle with A side being the worst. Visible patch (scuff or liquid splotch?) on A1. Vibrancy could be better. -
How is the sound on this? I am considering selling my MO Fi version and getting this.

Seems like every record collector on earth has this record, and not a single one has a clean cover XD -
This cd actually sounds surprisingly great! I have a marantz cd player and powered JBL studio monitors. No harshness, not compressed. Perhaps a bit muddy, but that is largely consistent with other masterings of this album. Drums and guitar/bass tones come through with clarity and distinction. Many cds I’ve re-listened to lately sound harsh, compressed, and messy, but I wanted to mention this one sounds pretty darn good! -
