It took me such a long time to realize that the original version of Analogue Rock ended with a fade-out, and this remaster restored a proper outro...
-
Anyone know if these sleeves are the type of PVC that cause outgassing? I don't get that beach ball smell but I'm not a scientist and would rather be safe
-
Has anyone else experienced a lot of sibilance on this particular version? It's really grating at times. I'm still not entirely sure if it's the fault of my turntable, but all other records I play sound fine.
-
I bought the 1972 reissue several years ago, and this one blows it out of the water. Simply incredible and highly recommended.
-
Have the same sibilance issues on right channel I have with Peng! reissue, especially on Pack Yr Romantic Mind, but I guess it's safe to say it could be my setup (AT-LP120's antiskating may be broken), other than that this is a much needed reissue of a great album and I absolutely recommend it. The sleeve is a bit odd though, it's a double gatefold but it's only a single wide-spine pocket on the inside housing all three records and poster instead of a more traditional triple gatefold.
-
Nicely packaged re-issue, although it's a pity that all three records of both the first and second copies received are far from flat. The up-and-down movement of the record player's arm is still very noticeable when the replacement is played. Thankfully, not enough to affect play. On the other hand, the reissue of Mars Audiac Quintent is perfect.
