disc#3 on my copy has an infinite runout loop on both sides preventing my auto-return/cut from triggering. is this just my press or all of them?
-
Edited 5 months agoDefinitely their most subversive record... let it play in the background, it has a sort of pleasing mororik/lounge vibe... and then you decode the lyrics...its like having a copy of Deleuze/Guattari's Anti-Oedipus bound in green Morocco leather...

This is a great reissue. Drop dead quiet and beautiful sounding. Why can’t all reissues be this good?
-
Edited one year agoThere was a Rough Trade version that came with a numbered piece of magnetic tape. Limited to 40 copies.
-
Edited one year agoRecord sounds crisp and clear. I want to make a joke about European languages and how I wish I could understand the band singing songs about escargot or whatever but I can't because Stereolab is a great band and this is a superb record.
-
Edited one year agoIs this version really numbered? Mine is not numbered. Maybe 3LP black vinyl was not added to Discogs DB?

Edited 5 years agoOne of the best reissues I've ever heard and seen. Very good sound and mix, very silent vinyl; awesome cover, poster and labels.

Edited 6 years agoMy copy came with 4xLPs. Two copies of the third disc. No complaints at all :D. Superb sound by the way!!
