I have two copies of this. One sleeve has embossed silver strips whereas the other does not. I can't see a listing that distinguishes these.

Such a great debut album. Every track is great! Buying the OG UK press is the way to go. My copy had light scratches and some surface noise but that’s to be expected from a 40 year old album. Essential listening along with Rio and Seven and the Ragged Tiger! -
Uno de mis grupos favoritos junto a Spandau Ballet de los magnificos años 80, para mi esa decada fué la mejor de todas, no tengo ninguna duda. Ahora me gusta mucho la musica Ucraniana o Rusa os animo a conocerla. La primera vez que escuché la musica de Ucrania o Rusia fue en una agencia de viajes del este de europa mientras esperaba en un sillón que me atendieran. -
The essential listening for any individual of class and distinction, every song contained within being its own unique masterpiece of synthetic art.
Nothing could ever encapsulate the sound of the burgeoning 80s more, nor in such a glorious fashion. And yet, somehow we live in a time where this record exists, and we are lucky to have it. Absolutely in my opinion the most critical and excellent of any Synthpop album ever created, and with the possible exceptions of “Forever Now” and “Talk Talk Talk”, the greatest New Wave album. 10/10. -
Is this listing for the sleeve with the silver foil embossing rather than the simple 5th-colour Pantone silver? I'm assuming so. -
Probably their best album for me, and an excellent recording / pressing - sound quality is really good. -
Well this album is OUTSTANDING!!! I prefer a lot SIDE B with the incredible intro of 2.10 minuts of Night Boat that is ASTONISHING!!! Also Friends of Mine is a GEM till the ending song "Tel Aviv" that is an obsiously recall of the "The Tenant" piece of 1979 Japan's album "Obscure Alternatives". A must for all New Wave music style fans!!
