Yeah, another winner. Flat, clean, no pops or other unwelcome noises. And most importantly, it sounds great. Ive still got my original and cant tell the difference between them, even in a blind test.
This is one of those singles that I always thought charted much higher than it did. See also Bowie’s Heroes and Depeche Mode’s Never Let Me Down. -
Have looked at this and a replacement, and this release unfortunately has QC issues, like most new pressings. Non-fill and stitching on both sides of both discs. Not super apparent on my system, but I can still hear it a little bit, YMMV (buyer beware if you have a particularly detailed setup). -
Happy to read the great reviews about this edition! Please someone can tell me if the edition sale in the US is the european import edition? I'm about to buy online and I would like to know before I pull the trigger. Thanks!

Edited 6 years agoJust like the recent reissues of "Ceremony" and "Everything's Gone Green", I'm very happy with this purchase. My copy is sturdy and flat with absolutely no surface noise throughout. The remaster is full and crisp, definitely the best these tracks have ever sounded. The inner and outer artwork is faithfully reproduced on a nice stock. Like the original, the jacket has "temptation" debossed on the front and "hurt fac63" debossed on the back.
