Nickelback is a Canadian rock band with a modest hit on its name (How You Remind Me) and now a full cd. Musical falls Nickelback in the flow of the mainstream rock. Comparisons with bands like Live, 3 Doors Down and Creed raises also soon on when listening to Silver Side Up. Despite the fact that Nickelback also uses the typical American rock sound, the band is indeed something unique. The whole plate has a nice pace, is not too hard and avoids to get bogged down in mediocre cliche-ballads. Really super exciting Silver Side Up, not, but the quality of the numbers compensates for the lack of originality. Nickelback will then probably also called at the above list bands shears and soon reach the same star status. They awarded it.
