My copy is clean with no noise, however it's significantly quieter (less decibels, not talking surface noise) than other records. Had me troubleshooting my system, but other records play at a normal volume. This one is significantly (25%?) quieter. Minor annoyance, anyone else experience this?

As per some of the other comments, this sounded pretty average until I actually cleaned it with my vinyl style with spin clean fluid. I'd suggest this for any new or used record.
I've ittedly not had time to listen to side C yet. It was a bit crackly on the run in but this really doesn't matter.
Ill edit this post if my opinion changes after a few more listens and after listening to side C.
Greatest Hits and There is Nothing Left to lose arguably sound a slight bit better to me. But I don't think there's an issue with this inherently. -
Hum yes also, even if it doesn't sound good one first play (mainly because of dust I think), let it play maybe 2 Times, before washing, your needle will take out some of the dust..

Hi people, the mastering is not bad, I have good dynamic and clear sound.
Just one thing, the pressing is dirty!
I had crackles on side B, no distorsion as mentionned above, I had the same issue with another Sony new LP...use your brush, then give it a good wash, cleen it.
Problem solved. Only issue, last track on side B (the few last seconds) still have little crackles, but not as much...but still this should not happens.
Has I have no other issue I keep the LPs.

European version : mastering or pressing problem, I can cleary hear distortion on sides B and C, side A seems OK. The mastering / pressing of Sonic Highways were awsome, I don't understand why this one sounds so bad ... Haven't had a chance to compare to CD but it sounds like crap. Do you guys have the same problem ?? -
overall this would be a great pressing, but.. major crackling on track 2 side 1 which is actually present throughout the whole side, just cant hear it as well because of the music. So, bad pressing, taken it back,. The other thing that puzzles me is USA stamp on runout is scratched out so where was this pressed?
