One of my best sounding cassettes ! ! ! !

Great sound on this bad Larry. I had never heard that weird molasses-y bass sound on the last chorus before the jam on Junkie's Promise. Many other cases. Can't decide whether this is my second or third favorite SY album.

I don't have anything to compare it to, however, this pressing sounds terrific to me: loud and dynamic.

Sounds good to me. Sounds like the other ones remastered by Golden and pressed by GZ, which are all good. Clear clean sound. Good stereo separation, spacious sound stage, dynamic with little compression.

This was the first original pressing I ever bought. It was in 2008 and I wasn’t a record collector yet, I just got into vinyl and this was the only pressing that existed at the time. I bought it from Amazon marketplace for $30. Seeing it worth what it is today is staggering.

Anyway it sounds amazing as you’d expect with great inserts. No Queen Blues sounds just amazing as does the whole album. One of my favs.

5 years ago I snagged one of these factory sealed on eBay for $40. The seller thought it was the reissue. It sounds incredible! Highly recommended seeking it out, it's still pricey but not as bad as it used to be.

Have to agree that this is a poor remaster. Sounds digital and thin. Lacks power, oomph, and bass, and the frequencies sound muddled. Haven't compared to an original press, but the CD sounds better in almost every aspect. Disappointing to say the least. At least the packaging is pretty great and it didn't break the bank, but still lacklustre, even if noise-free. Should have heeded the other commenter's advice about the US press.

Does somebody have some info about this edition? I can’t find it anywhere
