Almost perfect sounding version (as most of the '90s production); a pleasure to listen to: recommended!

Since I'm the only owner at the moment (I didn't list it, the pics were obviously stolen from the eBay listing I bought it from) - I can share with you my doubts that this release is legitimate. It has a duochromic cover (like many of the 'CHOBA ...' counterfeits have), the matrix numbers are hand-etched (no other release of this record has that) and the overall feel is quite flimsy.

Then again, the cover and label don't seem to be a reproduction as the writing is clear and even the barcode looks very defined, not blurry. Plus the label shows the same pressing-ring as the official Spanish version - a bootleg very likely wouldn't. Plus, the record was and still is widely available, so producing a wannabe-promo counterfeit wouldn't make much sense.

This release is quite a mystery. Any information is highly appreciated.

True to the tradition of performing stripped down, obscure acoustic songs on Unplugged, this album is no exception. However I just wish he would have stuck to Beatles and solo material, not covering 50s crap. The Japan CD’s presentation is superb and highly recommended.

The Colombian pressing is a true immersion into a “bootleg “ experience: the lacquer was cut from a CD source, the PVC material from recycled records, the centering is off, and the sleeves are the cheapest of the cheap quality. No expense was spent on the manufacture of this item.

CD omits Midnight Special due to CD minutes. So this is not a complete version as seen on video. You can find an omitted song on B-side of CD single "Biker Like an Icon".

Does anybody know how many of these were pressed originally?

This is a very nice sounding performance. The recording is a bit sibilant in spots however. Not quite on par with Nirvana and Alice In Chains Unplugged IMO.

Is anyone running a serial number registry with matrix info?
