Static-X – Wisconsin Death Trip

Great album and all but this release is really weird. The censoring is so minimal that I've got to wonder why they did it at all. They only censor the occasional "Fuck," of which there are only about two of throughout the entire album, and they leave intact every other expletive. If that were the only thing off then this release would be fine but somehow, during the editing, they managed to mess up almost every transition between tracks. Instead of a smooth transition like God intended when he made this album, tracks will cut to silence for about a second and then pick up where they left off in the next track in an entirely disorienting fashion. These issues don't ruin the album or anything but they just make for an outright odd release.

Holy hell. Sounds way better than I thought. 10/10. Rest easy Wayne.

INCREDIBLE album, one of my fav albums ever made. Vinyl sounds very good too. Hope Shadow Zone/Cannibal/Cult of Static get the same treatment someday. My copy of Cannibal (which was sealed) is very rough sounding mastering-wise. Sucks as that is my favorite from them tied with this.

This one looks sick. Super simple cover, but still like the look of it.

The packaging is nice, clean and glossy af! The vinyl color goes well with the album artwork. And best of all, it sounds pretty amazing!
