I’m not a huge fan of Dune’s music, but I recently discovered that the ‘Vocoder mix’ on this B-side is a beautiful piece of electronic music. -

The Revil O remix of Dune's Seminal classic is an absolute Happy Hardcore Masterpiece.
A true hybrid of styles which starts with raw breakbeats intertwined with a bubbling TB-303 that leads perfectly into an epic breakdown filled with dreamy pads which encapsulates pure Hardcore Euphoria.
An essential Hardcore classic that deserves pride of place in any self respecting Hardcore fans collection.

Can't Stop Raving is one of the ultimate anthems (and maybe it isn't a big exaggeration to call it THE anthem) for the era of uptempo rave music and for its subculture. It can be instantly recognized by the lyrics and the melody.
Although it was a commercial hit with an amazing video - and therefore it is handled by the 'underground' with keeping a distance (but iring it - at least secretly), as the 12" mix was and is still continously re-released, remixed, bootlegged and requested and played at events all around the world.
It could hardly be imagined that the composition of the track could be elevated any further, but the Revil O Remix does manage it with acid lines, a stringy breakdown and the 170 bpm euphoria that follows. -
This is one of the eternal rave classics. This track falls into the overplayed category alot of the time as it is just so damn good. This was written before money came into raves. Back then it was just about the music not the money
Come and take a trip with me
To a land where love is free
Follow me into the light
Everything's gonna be allright
Just to go and take my hand
I will show you the promised land
Stay with me in paradise
So our future can be nice
They dont write tracks like this anymore.
