Wicked album from start to finish. I wore the cassette out twice when I was a kid.

This album is part of a very good phase of US RAP music. LL Cool, together with Public Enemy, Run Dmc and Eric B & Rakim, are among the strongest rappers of the 80s - Questo album è parte di una buonissima fase della musica RAP statunitense. LL Cool, insieme ai Public Enemy, Run Dmc e Eric B & Rakim, sono tra i più forti rapper degli anni '80.

This clear shell variant was probably reissued somewhere between 1990 and 1993. The reason I say that is because by 1994,Def Jam had been bought by Polygram and soon after, the reissues, including this one,had started showing up in the stores. This was probably the last time Sony had repressed this cassette.

I being in my room listening to a radio station that played hip hop in 87 I think it was (on the wire) Steve barker and he announced ll's new track bad being played for the 1st time in the UK, I mean it had been nearly two years since radios release. So when it came on I lost my shit man. Parents were not happy, I was 16 at the time volume up full wack, didn't care , it was a moment. The album was large back then......peace 5000g

I actually have a very nice turntable and stereo system and this pressing sounds absolutely perfect! Dead quiet Thick Quality vinyl. I also had the original in ‘87 when it first came out. This sounds every bit as good as the original, but Better quality! Bass hits Hard! And mids and highs are perfectly balanced. Anyone giving negative reviews must not have very good systems, cuz this is as audiophile as it gets for this album. Highly recommend this pressing to any old school rap fan. This album is certainly one of the icons of the era

Not too impressed with the sound quality on this one. The beats hit very well, but there's a lot of sibilance and a lot of parts just sound harsh. Curious to how the original pressing sounds

'Kanday' and 'My Rhyme Ain't Done' - fantastic. 'I Need Love' - shite.
