Flash is perfection... just hearing the intro, sneaking in the mix - perfectly to be laid over the previous track. Its great to dance to but even more it gives me images in my mind, barely other tracks do... never gets boring, always a pleasure like meeting a good old friend.

FLASH - simple and explosive. One of my top ten favorite trance records.

It should be noted that there are two different mixes of Photo, depending on what issue you have.

The European CD issues run at around 6:00 and have a soft (no beat) intro.

The UK issue runs around 6:10 and has a beat intro. Also, it introduces the small arpeggio riff around 1:30 (which is not introduced until almost the end of the European mix).

Both mixes are very enjoyable, and it is essential for B.B.E. collectors to have both.

As a sidenote of personal interest, does anyone know if there is a CD issue of the "Extended Mix" which is featured on Flash?

It is not the 007 Mix.

created for a new years eve light show - the ignition sound effect sets it up. Peaky hour trance well duplicated.

Whilst this may not be as innovative as Bruno Sanchioni's other famous release, it's still a classic of the genre.

Flash is one of those tunes that manages to be brilliant whilst also being formulaic. Every aspect of the track is exactly as it should be - intro, build, breakdown, climax, outro - bassline, hook, etc etc, yet it's somehow sublime.

It must have been weird, having practically invented the trance genre (or at least its modern form) with "Age of Love" to then come back into the fray with this!
