Might be the warmest cut from Bellman I've heard. Cohesive soundstage. Really satisfying and engaging listen.

is this a mono version ? - i can´t notice any details on the label -
Usually when an album goes through the digital realm to my ears it suffers with a subtle harshness and sterility even if cut to vinyl from the digital realm. These MOFI's DSD's to vinyl are an exception, they are pure pleasure to listen to. amazing detail and deep soundstage. I still think some of the warmth and softness and depth of AAA all analog is a bit compromised but it's ok, it's made up for with crystal clear sound.

Do you prefer this on stereo to the original mono pressing? I have that and wonder if anything could be better.

Great sound quality on these very underrated late 70’s reissues. Own all of the MoFi’s and absolutely love them but these measure up very well to my ears. The highs especially shimmer on these! A great option to consider if you’re filling out your Miles collection. -

Really nice sounding pressing. Strong highs, punchy drums, and full low-end. Recommended pressing of a Miles classic. -

Great recording. Prefer the mono to the stereo mix. Usual early CBS orange label quality, thick vinyl, deep grooves. -
Noticed that on the back of the album jacket, below the main text, Miles Davis/EPS, only the tracks on side A are listed. Must be a printing/layout error.

Edited one year agoI have reviewed a handful of these Miles MoFi editions and this one is up to the level of most of the other releases such as Sorcerer and Nefertiti - the pressing quality and sonics of these Miles second quintet releases by MoFi cannot be beat - wait until they release more and grab one (you will not be disappointed)
Listening through a Dual 1219 with Stanton 680 cart and fine line stylus through a tube phono stage, Yamaha AS701 amp and refurbed Klipsch KG5.2 speakers
