This is the same as my version and as per the rear image included with this version actually says ‘printed in Holland’ (tho a bit burred on the photo; 5th line below Horizontal yellow bar, rhs column).

Long Hot Summer (Club Mix) = Lovely balearic pop track with slightly dubbed out production. Even better than the original!

Great first record from the council with a melting pot of electro funk new wave soul and pop and some great Hammond sounds from Mick Talbot

I first heard of the Style Council through their hit debut single Long Hot Summer which had a lot of synth and yet somehow sounded soulful. I bought the mini LP on the strength of the single and really liked some of the other songs such as Headstart for Happiness and The Paris Match. The cassette version featured 2 extra tracks but the LP sounded so much better!
